This is the second book in The Bunker series.
Lauren and Stan lead a coalition to Virginia to stop the expansion of The Genro Corporation from enslaving the survivors of a nuclear holocaust that devastated the planet. Along the way, they encounter the people who are trying to scratch out a life after the destruction of their country. Some good, some bad.
With new equipment salvaged from the experimental military lab in Spokane Washington, they hope to take on and defeat the Genro forces holding the east coast of the old United States in thrall to the needs of the corporation.
Little do they know, but soon there will be another encounter with the security wing of Genro known as Hydra. General Marzin has sent a detachment of soldiers and Bio-Bots to defeat the small band in Indianapolis Indiana. Marzin would have his revenge on Stan Black and the citizens of the bunker for killing his lover, at any cost.

I was looking for a well written apocalyptic view of what "could be", if we experienced a world ending tragedy. Well, I found it in this series (1 - 3) of stories. I just finished Bunker 3 and could not put it down until I finished it. Northwest Territory is supposed to be next and I really hate waiting for it. Good read and amazing imagination of the author. I highly recommend this series.Product details

Some sex, but still a good SF read.
I read book one and loved it, so I picked up book two and it was great. Now it seems I will have to wait to see what happens to Stan in book three.
intresting concept,held my attention, makes you think about how many underground units there are out there federal and private, and the private sector security,that border on army status
Book 2 picks up where Book 1 left off and if oyu were a fan of Book 1 you willlove Book 2. Action, great storytelling, futuristic weapons described in such detail that they are completely plausible. I am anxiusoly awaiting Book 3. Great work Mr. Camacho
The only thing wrong with this book is I have to wait for the 3rd. I remember when I first began to read William Johnstone's Ashes series. I got tired of waiting for books so I waited until the series ended, which by the way was a long time. Keep em coming
I read both this book and the first one back to back. The story grabbed me from the first page and swept me along with me reading as fast as I could to see what was happening, I think the author has done a great job at character development and keeping the action going, look forward to the continuing saga! Hope we don't have to wait too long!
What a wonderful read and an excellent story that imerses you in the adventure as if you were actually there. This is a continuation of the first book and if you have read the first installment of this series, then you will absolutely want to read this second book. I won't spoil anything by telling you about the story other than to say - Read it, you won't be sorry that you did.
