I applaud Christy Barritt for tackling spiritual and physical issues with such flair. Unfortunately I have read all the way through book 9 at the moment and am having to wait for book 10. I love the series. It's a must read series from book one to whatever the number of books will total up to. The first books are downright hilarious and sleuthy. The middle books are more serious but I so appreciated the walk through of reasoning faith in all circumstances, no matter what life throws at you your gonna trust in God attitude. The mysteries seem to get more complex with each book aw well. What a journey! Read with a friend so you can talk it over.Product details

I cannot wait for book 11, to come out where are you? This book is wonderfully funny, full of surprises, tempered with God's grace. I find this book was an excellent read. Comical and suspense combined with a little romance. The character's Christian growth is very apparent, and is a good reminder to take Christ into your very life, not just 5 minutes with God while your hand is on the doorknob each day. Come grow your faith with Gabby as she finds the whodunit in this yet another wonderful book in the Squeaky Clean Series.
Another winner! I like that the author doesn't sugar coat and make things always come out the way you want, so much as in life. Always keeping you on your toes and twisting the plot that you think you can figure out, but ah ha, can't. Winning series , would recommend to anyone that likes a good clean mystery.

I love how Christy weaves Christianity into her stories. I've read all of the Squeaky Clean Mysteries, and have feel like I'm acquainted with all the people involved with the books. Christy has a great way of writing. Though there is some violence involved in her stories, there are no sexual activities going on, and that's hard to find in books these days. You feel like you are actually with the people, while they are running around solving crimes and living life. I can't wait for the next one that comes out the end of February.
Gabby finds herself right in the middle of things again as she goes undercover in a local play. Much is riding on the play and it seems as though someone does not want things to work out. I enjoyed seeing Gabby make the hard decisions, while being out of her comfort zone a bit. I likes how she did not hesitate to help out an old friend and enjoyed seeing her sort things out. It is another page turner and I look forward to more Gabby books.
Pretty good story with nifty characters with a quirky heroine struggling with romance and a mystery. Best part is that it is squeaky clean so I don't have to worry about recommending it to anyone. Has no foul language or steamy sex scenes. The whole concept appeals to me because the storyline, character development, scenes, etc. rely on author skills and not obscene distractions to make an impact.
This is one of my favorite books in this Squeaky Clean Mysteries series. The detective in me just can't put this kind of book down until I can find out what happens at the end. And this book will keep you guessing until the end, I promise you that. Gabby St. Claire is a crime scene cleaner and she seems to constantly be caught up in solving yet another murder mystery or mysteries. In this book, dead bodies keep showing up and Gabby just could be the next one. Should the play go on or should she back out to maybe save her own life?
Christy Barritt is a favorite author of mine, and I love this Squeaky Clean Mysteries series. These books are quick to read yet very suspenseful throughout with a good dose of romance sprinkled in.
I highly recommend this book and all books in this series. I am never disappointed with any book by this author. She rates A+++ in my book.
Christy Barritt always gives a great page-turner, and this one is no exception! The mystery definitely lead me on a windy road, and the ending hairpin curve really threw me! The romantic play in book eight was both disheartening and encouraging - an oxymoron, I know, but that's how I felt. I couldn't believe Riley would really truly walk completely out of Gabby's life (but did he really, or is there more to come?). While Gabby is falling for someone else, she has very conflicting emotions because of her feeling for both men. Her business is falling apart, and she has some serious thinking to do about the future. What will book nine bring? I can't wait to find out! Thanks, Christy Barritt for another terrific read!
